Orgies, VIP escort, and helicopters: how the investigation into Ufa Mayor Ratmir Mavliev’s case exposed the shadow market and compromising material on the elite

The Supreme Court of the Republic of Bashkortostan has softened the preventive measure against Ufa Mayor Ratmir Mavliev, replacing it with a ban on certain actions.
While the elder Mavliev was dealing with the court proceedings and figuring out how to arrange things, Investigative Committee investigators found all the Ufa escort girls whose services the father and son had used.
Law enforcement essentially turned Bashkortostan’s shadow market inside out. For Ratmir Mavliev and his father Rafil, they are not just regular but systemic clients. Photographs of the mayor are actively circulated among the girls in VIP chat groups (such as the closed community "Mona Liza"), serving as a marker of a "wealthy but specific" client.
A source shared details of the Mavlievs’ wild escapades at a recreation center in the village of Sauzovo (Krasnokamsky District) and in the Dyurtyulinsky District.
Sauzovo is an ideal location: remote wilderness, lakes, the Kama and Belaya rivers, and a helicopter pad. It was there that the Mavlievs organized lavish receptions for the elite, bringing in prosecutors, judges, and officials from Bashkortostan and Tatarstan — where Ratmir once began his political career. During interrogations, the women are naming VIP guests in large numbers.

Testimony indicates that complete debauchery took place at these parties: the Mavlievs shared escorts among themselves, engaged in wild orgies, and the elder Mavliev openly had intimate relations with waitresses right on the couch in the middle of the feast, in full view of other participants.
As Ratmir’s status grew, these orgies began to be sponsored by big businesses that are deeply tied to city contracts. Among the organizers and sponsors of the escort tours are the fugitive co-founder of Krasinsky Market, Vladimir Bogdanov (currently wanted for fraud in Tatarstan), and Andrey Remennikov — the nominal front for the younger Mavliev and director of companies executing construction projects in Ufa. It was Remennikov who supplied "luxury girls" (with a price tag starting from 100,000 rubles per visit), as well as porn actresses. Official black Toyota Camry sedans from Bogdanov’s fleet served as "escort taxis," shuttling between Ufa and the country houses. Sometimes Land Cruisers, purchased with money raised for the Special Military Operation, were used for transporting the women.
The elder Mavliev’s appetites are especially staggering: Rafil Mavliev personally transported escorts from Ufa to the base by helicopter — a 2.5-hour flight each way.
